About the project
The Employee Document Management System was developed for a client in Malaysia to efficiently manage and store both employee-specific and general documents. The system supports three user roles: Admin, Sub-admin, and General User.
Admins have full control over user management, employee records, and all documents. They can filter employee lists, print custom reports, and manage employee documents through a single modal interface that supports uploading, viewing, deleting, and downloading files—individually or as a ZIP archive.
Sub-admins share the same permissions as admins but cannot add new users. The system ensures efficient document tracking and secure file storage, with quick access through categorized tabs and a streamlined interface.
General Users can see all the employee's documents or general documents but they can't add or modify anything.
